John's Journey
As a coder starting out in inpatient rehabilitation facility coding, Owner John Barrilleaux quickly realized there is a huge difference between acute hospital inpatient coding and IRF. What was also quickly realized is that there are very few resources for coders in IRF and all post-acute care. Several years ago, we set out to improve this.
Rehab Coding Services was formed to focus on providing services for post-acute care by offering services, expertise, and education to companies of all sizes, small rural facilities, and with units within large urban hospital systems. IRF, SNF and LTAC is all we do each day.
